Visiting Porn Star Belladonna Advises Pope on Clergy Sex Abuse.

One of the world’s most celebrated erotic actresses has advised the Pope to allow priests to have access to X rated films. Belladonna, the star of over 250 X rated features, said it was a way for priests to let go of sexual tension and was the only practical measure that the church had to deal with the problem of clergy sex abuse.

Belladonna is visiting Australia for a store appearance at the Adult Factory Outlet inFyshwick on Friday and then onto Sydney Sexpo, which starts next week after celebrations for Catholic World  Youth Day ended.

Belladonna is no stranger to the effects of religious conservatism having been brought up as a Morman with a father who was a Bishop of the Morman church

“The Pope has indicated that he might apologise to victims of clergy sex abuse and that is a  positive thing to do, but unless he follows up with some practical advice that addresses the sexual needs and desires of clergy, the problem will simply continue”, she said.

“Church clergy are at a crisis because they get no real street-level sex education but are expected to ply the streets to deliver their spiritual message.

They need to know how to distinguish a sexual fetish or fantasy from real life sex.”

Belladonna said she would donate 300 of her own films to the Catholic Church in Australia for distribution to priests and would also donate some of her time to help set up a meaningful set of
exercises for priests to deal with sexual tension and stress.

She believed that the Pope should allow priests to be able to visit sex workers and therapists.

Over 500 church clergy have now been dealt with in Australian courts for child sex abuse since 1990.

In an apology to the US public recently over paedophile priests, the Pope tried to blame the sexualisation of society and pornography for clergy sexual abuse of children.

Belladonna said that around the world, the adult sex industry did not attract paedophiles because it was focused on the healthy expression of adult sexuality and in the USA, adult film companies donated millions of dollars to the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection and to the eradication of child pornography
