AT some time or other most of us have had to share accommodation and usually have a horror story or three to relay about the experience.
Craig Hallet, who operates Broadbeach Flatmate Centre, is someone who has heard more than his fair share of extraordinary behaviour from clients and friends.
With that in mind, he is in the process of putting together a book chronicling the good, the bad and the downright weird of living with total strangers and coming to terms with their habits.
``There was one house I went to inspect and when I pulled up outside the building I could hear what was obviously a porn movie being played at top volume,'' he said.
``The guy came out and took me through the house without bothering to turn off the tape or lower the volume. He obviously thought it was perfectly normal to have X-rated movies playing night and day at full blast.
``Another male flatmate wanted to change because his female flatmate taped every soap opera on afternoon television and then when she came home from work insisted on playing the episodes back until 11pm when she went to bed.''
If you think your story should be included in Craig's book, give him a ring on 55921800.
