Blokes' mag proves itself a prize boob |

A MEN'S magazine has outraged women's health specialists by urging readers to ``win'' their girlfriend a boob job by sending in shots of her cleavage. The magazine launched an online competition offering $10,000 breast implants to the girl ``who deserves it most''. The magazine defended the competition, saying the publication revered women. But women's health specialists and a surgeons' group disagreed, branding the competition a poor-taste publicity stunt that was unethical and possibly even illegal. ``I'm disgusted and appalled, and very doubtful they can even offer major body modification as a prize,'' said public health researcher Dr Jenny O'Dea, of the University of Sydney. ``You simply cannot treat women in this way.'' Dr Howard Webster, president of the Australian Society for Plastic Surgeons, said commercialising and trivialising ``an invasive medical procedure is a completely irresponsible thing to do''.
